Even if hands are shaken, spit is first spat on each other’s hands. Even a new born baby is spit upon to bless it. This is a common thing for the Masai tribe.
Masai tribe lives in Kenya and Tanzania. Masai people live in Tanzania and Kenya. Their number is close to ten lakh. They can be easily identified by their red colored clothes, they wear only red clothes. They lead a nomadic life.
People of Masai tribe drink the blood of animals; they usually eat meat, but on many occasions they also drink the blood of animals, especially to avoid diseases. Some blood is collected by making a hole in the neck of the animal with an arrow or by cutting the neck and drinking the blood directly by placing it in the mouth. After delivery, these people feed animal blood to the mother.
People of Masai tribe give a lot of importance to their animals. They take care of animals like children. Masai tribe is famous all over the world for its customs. Most of their rules and regulations are oral only.
