Nowadays, the trend of making your picture a Ghibli style image is going on on social media and in the meantime people have found another new thing. People got bored of Ghibli style, so now people have started making fake Aadhaar and PAN cards on AI chat bot ChatGPT.

Fake Aadhaar and PAN cards made from ChatGPT are going viral on social media. The surprising thing is that if you see these fake PAN and Aadhar cards, they will look real to you. You will find it difficult to differentiate between fake and real.

Fake Aadhaar and PAN cards started being made with AI

If you are active on social media, then you must have seen pictures of fake PAN cards and Aadhar cards these days. These PAN cards belong to none other than OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk.

People are so obsessed with making fake PAN cards that they have not even spared the great mathematician of India, Aryabhatta. This has become a new trend for people. Even though these things are being made for fun, but this can be a matter of concern. This shows how much AI is being misused.

The pictures look like real cards

According to a report by Economic Times, the fake Aadhaar cards being made from ChatGPT are very similar to the real cards. There is just some error in text and numbers. Otherwise, if someone looks at it at first glance, he will not be able to tell the difference between real and fake. This trend of making fake cards has sparked a debate on the Internet. This makes us feel the need to focus on AI regulation and security risk.

A user on social media said, “ChatGPT is quickly making fake Aadhaar and PAN cards, which is a serious security risk. AI should be used to a certain extent.”

How to identify the real card?

Aadhaar card is issued to every citizen by the Government of India as an identity card. This card contains a unique 12-digit number for each individual. It is linked to the individual’s biometric and demographic data. Which includes the person’s photo, name, date of birth, gender, address and fingerprints.

PAN card also has a special 10-digit unique code, which is different for every person. Apart from this, PAN and Aadhaar card information can be verified through QR code. Since the data in it is encrypted, a special certified scanner is required to scan it. This means that only authorized institutions can do the correct and secure verification of PAN card.
