The idol changes form three times

During the afternoon the idol appears as a young woman and in the evening the idol of Maa Dhari Devi appears as an old woman. Crowds of devotees have started gathering in the Siddva Peeth Dhari Devi Temple, one of the Shakti Peethas of Mother Goddess. Various forms of Maa will be worshiped for nine days.
Flood of faith in Dhari Devi temple during Navratri
Devotees always reach Dhari Devi temple. But during the time of Navratri, a large number of devotees reach here to have darshan of Mata Rani. The black form of Mother Goddess is worshiped here. The temple of Maa Dhari Devi, built in Katyuri style in the middle of Alaknanda, is grand and has become a center of attraction in itself.
Many queues have to be formed for darshan
During Chaitra Navratri, devotees from all over the country and abroad are reaching Dhari Devi Temple. The influx of devotees has started coming to the temple from 5 in the morning. Ramesh Chand Pandey, priest of Dhari Devi temple, said that a crowd of devotees gather in the temple since morning. Police help is being taken to make arrangements for this. Darshan of Goddess Bhagwati is being done through four lines in the temple.
