Is it better than ChatGPT?
Meta claims that the Llama 4 Scout model performs top especially in tasks like document summary, logic based coding and creative writing. This model has 17 billion active parameters and a total of 109 billion parameters. That is, a lot is going on inside the brain. Meta has also said that their new models have proved better than models like Google Gemini 2.0 Flashlight, Mistral 3.1 and Gemma 3 in benchmark tests.
How to use?
Llama 4 is now available on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Meta’s website through Meta AI. Its use has started in about 40 countries. However, its multimodal features, i.e. image and video, are currently limited only to the US and that too for English users only.
