APJ Abdul Kalam’s immense successes
Abdul Kalam’s dream was to become a pilot in the Air Force, for this he did aerospace engineering, but he was rejected because he was just one rank short. Kalam became a scientist in DRDO at the age of 29 and ISRO at the age of 38. Only after this India made its first missile Agni. Abdul Kalam also played a big role in the nuclear test and then became the 11th President of the country at the age of 71. The surprising thing is that in this successful life he never thought about his marriage.
Why Kalam did not want to get married
He used to say that if he got married, he would not have achieved even half of what he has achieved in life. He believed that marriage and children make a man selfish. However, later he again started avoiding the question of marriage. It was in the year 2006 when a small child in Singapore asked Kalam the reason for not getting married, he avoided the question and said, I wish that all of you get a good life partner.
Special reason for parting his hair in the middle
Along with this, the most interesting personality of Abdul Kalam was his different looking hairstyle. He used to part his long hair in the middle. According to a report, Speaking Tree, Kalam had half an ear since birth, so he used to cover his ear with his long hair.
